AI is educational, not diagnostic
Labor Lens AI helps you think through options and prepare questions. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace your care team.
Privacy is a priority
Your prompts, plans, and journals are not used to train AI models. Only the services that make the app work ever see your data.
This page explains, in plain language, how LlaMamma ("we", "us") handles information you share with the Labor Lens app (the "Service"). Labor Lens is an educational tool. It does not provide medical care and is not a HIPAA-covered service.
1. What we collect
- Account: email address, a display name if you set one, and the mode you chose (birthing person or birth worker).
- Content you create: birth plan entries, decision-journal notes, saved advocacy scripts, doula client notes (birth workers only), and questions you ask Labor Lens AI.
- Payment records: when you buy a plan, our payment processor (Stripe) stores your billing details. We only see the last 4 digits of your card and the plan you're on — never your full card number.
- Feedback you submit: the message you write, an optional email, the page you were on, and your browser user-agent.
- Basic technical logs: IP address and request errors, kept briefly for security and debugging.
2. What we don't collect
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on your health content.
- We don't use your birth plan, journal, or AI questions to train AI models.
3. How we use it
- To run the app for you (save your plan, remember your mode, show your history).
- To answer your Labor Lens AI questions — the prompt is sent to our AI provider, which does not retain it for training.
- To process payments (via Stripe) and confirm your plan.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and reply to support requests.
4. Who we share it with
Only the third parties that make the app work: our hosting/database provider (Supabase), our AI provider (via the Lovable AI Gateway), our payment processor (Stripe), and — if you send it — email delivery for support replies. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and only sees what it needs.
5. Your choices
- Edit or delete any birth plan, journal entry, or saved script from inside the app.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it by emailing Llamammamothercare@gmail.com.
- Revoke AI consent any time from Settings.
6. Health information
Labor Lens is educational. It is not a substitute for your midwife, doula, obstetrician, or emergency services. Please don't share information you'd want kept strictly confidential — this isn't a HIPAA-protected medical record system.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) making pregnancy and birth decisions. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when this changes. Big changes will be surfaced in-app.
